What is the high pressure stop valve? The opening and closing part of the high pressure stop valve is a plug disc, the sealing surface is flat or conical, and the disc moves in a straight line along the center line of the fluid. The stop valve is only applicable to full opening and full closing, and it is not allowed to regulate or throttle. What is the function of the stop valve?

　　1、 Working principle of high-pressure stop valve

　　High pressure angle stop valve is a forced sealing valve, so pressure must be applied to the valve disc when closing the valve to prevent leakage of the sealing surface. When the medium enters the valve from under the valve disc, the resistance that must be overcome is the friction between the valve stem and the packing and the thrust generated by the medium pressure. The force to close the valve is greater than the force to open the valve, so the diameter of the valve rod needs to be increased. Otherwise, the valve rod will bend and fail. In recent years, with the emergence of self-sealing valves, the medium flow direction of the stop valve has changed from the upper part of the valve slot to the upper part of the valve chamber. Due to its large size, the diameter can be reduced accordingly. At the same time, under the action of the medium, such valves also become tighter. When the high pressure stop valve is opened, the opening height of the valve disc is 25%~30% of the nominal diameter, and the flow reaches a certain degree, indicating that the valve is in the fully open position. Therefore, the full open position of the stop valve must be determined by the stroke of the valve disc.
